July '14 • Summer Nights with Boyfriend Jeans

Happy 4th of July! And for those of you from outside the US, Happy Friday! I am back today with a quick outfit of the day--quite different from how I usually style myself! On this day, my boyfriend and I drove to Pasadena to see my friend from school, Kelly, and her boyfriend to double date! Kelly was sweet enough to drive us around and take us to The Americana at Brand, which is similar to The Grove in Los Angeles...basically a fancy shopping center! We had early dinner and walked around the mall, just to see what was going on. Kelly is a fellow fashion blogger, so when we meet up, we have too much fun picking out clothes together and giving each other feedback. Our boyfriends stuck with us throughout our store hopping, so thanks guys! 

After, we drove to the Griffith Observatory where we could not find any parking! (geez, it was difficult) But we managed to ask some nice ladies if we could take their parking spot, and they said yes! With the sun going down fast, I didn't have much time on my hands to take pictures, but I tried...all for you guys :) My outfit revolves around these Topshop Hayden Jeans I bought at the Topshop Summer Sale a couple days ago. I first saw these jeans on Jess or better known as 'Sunbeamsjess' on Youtube, and I wasn't smitten by them at first, but I tried it on at the store and loved the fit, so naturally, I had to get it! I've been lusting for a pair of BF jeans for the longest time, and I am glad I finally found a pair that fits well and looks fashionable! I wore the jeans with my ever-so-soft Brandy Melville T-shirt for a slouchy yet comfy-chic look, and then topped it off with a belt from H&M to hold my pants from sliding down!...haha. 

Huge thank you to everyone who visits my blog and leave me a comment telling me what you're doing for the weekend! I have a fun girls' date planned on Sunday and we plan to go to the Getty Villa in LA, so keep your eyes peeled for a Getty outfit post soon!
